Apple to showcase “Panther”, the next Mac OS X release in June

Saturday, March 22nd, 2003
Apple today sent out the following notice to it’s Apple Developer Connection List:
We wanted you to be among the first to know that Apple has
rescheduled WWDC 2003 in order to provide attendees with a preview
CD and in-depth session coverage of the next major release of Mac OS
X, codenamed “Panther.” WWDC will take place June 23-27 at Moscone
West in San Francisco, California.
No other information was provided regarding Panther in the email.

Given this is a preview in June. Most likely it could ship this fall. Odds are the Mac community will find a more exact date, and more information during MacWorld (July 16-18).
